Create a site from what you have
Turn your code, existing docs, product page, a file or pasted notes into a preview of a whole docs site, with one message to Claude.
You choose your starting point on the Documarium start page, and Claude does the reading and the drafting. You end with a link to a preview you can keep or throw away. You do not need an account until you keep it.
Before you begin
- Add Documarium to Claude, on the web or the desktop app. The installation guide shows how.
- Have your starting point ready. If it is code on GitHub that is not public, connect GitHub in Claude first.
Steps
- Open documarium.com/start.
- Choose what you are starting from:
- Code on GitHub: type its web address.
- Docs online: type the address of their home page. A public Google Doc or Notion page works too.
- Your product's web page: Claude reads it and drafts the docs it promises.
- A file, such as a PDF, a Word document or slides: you attach it in Claude when you paste your prompt.
- Text you paste in, such as notes or a README.
- Nothing yet: Claude asks you a few questions, then drafts your first pages.
- Choose which pages Claude writes, for example Getting started, How-to guides, Troubleshooting or a privacy policy.
- Choose the language your site is written in, and up to three more languages to add.
- Choose Copy prompt and open Claude, then paste the prompt into Claude and send it.
Claude reads your source, drafts the pages and answers with a link to the preview.
What to do with the preview
Open the link and read your pages. A preview made without an account is shown for 48 hours. If nobody keeps it, its pages are deleted when it stops being shown. Keeping it as a draft in your account is free; see Keep a preview as a draft.
