Answers to common questions about Documarium: what it needs, when you pay, and what happens to your content if you leave.

What is Documarium?​

A hosted, versioned docs site that your team edits from their own Claude accounts. You ask Claude for a change in ordinary words, look at it first, then publish it. See Getting started.

Does my team need to pay for Claude?​

No. Each person needs a Claude account, and any plan works, including Free. Each person adds Documarium to their own account.

Is Documarium made by Anthropic?​

No. Documarium is an independent product that connects to Claude the way any other connector does. Anthropic does not make it, endorse it or support it. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC.

Who runs Documarium?​

Tonave Services Limited, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus under number HE 435321, at 18 Souliou, Strovolos, 2018, Nicosia, Cyprus. Its VAT number is 10435321I.

Is there a limit on the AI?​

Documarium adds no limit and bills for none. There are no credits and the AI is never metered, on any plan. The only limits are the ones in your own Claude plan.

Writing is free, so when do I pay?​

When you publish. A preview, made from Claude with no account, lasts 48 hours. Keep it and it becomes a draft in your account, which is free and never expires, so you can write and change it for as long as you like. To make it live on the web for readers, the site's owner picks a plan. Every plan and its price is on the pricing page.

Can I get my money back?​

Yes. Within 30 days of each paid purchase, you can ask for that payment back in full from your billing page. A renewal is not a purchase for this purpose. The refunds and cancellation policy explains how, and how to stop a plan.

How big can a site be?​

It depends on your plan, from 100 pages, 1 GB and 50 publishes a month on Starter up to 500 pages a site, with 100 GB and 1,500 publishes a month shared across an Agency account's sites. The pricing page lists each plan. If your site needs more, write to us at the address under Contact.

Who can change a page?​

Anyone you invite to the site, from their own Claude account, on a plan with more than one editor. Every change arrives as a proposed change with a link to look at first, and nothing is published until someone says so. See Change a page and approve it.

What happens to our content if we leave?​

You can export every page as plain text files, on every plan, including after you stop paying. The export is your content, not a working website, so you host it yourself. See Download all your content.

What does Documarium not do?​

Documarium does not write your docs for you. There is no separate app to write in, because Claude is where you write. There is no single sign-on, and nothing for teams that do not use Claude.

What may be published on Documarium?​

Your own documentation, within the terms of service. To report something on a site we host, write to abuse@documarium.com. You do not need an account to do that.
